Introduction to the EU Pact on Migration and Asylum: first applications and new operational practices

On 24 September 2026, Eleonora Celoria, lawyer Elena Garelli and lawyer Alberto Pasquero of Studio Legale Oltre delivered the online training “Introduction to the EU Pact on Migration and Asylum - First applications and new operational practices”, attended by over 500 legal practitioners. The session provided an overview of the main changes introduced by the Pact and examined the first applications of the reform and the new operational practices arising from it, with a focus on the concrete impact on applicants for international protection.
The session is part of a training cycle for practitioners, cultural mediators and volunteers from the public and non-profit sectors who work with foreign nationals in Piedmont, and reflects Studio Legale Oltre’s ongoing commitment to the dissemination of legal knowledge in the field of immigration and asylum.
